Why Timing Belt Maintenance Can Save Your EnginePosted August 23, 2026 1:41 PMOne part of your vehicle you probably never think of is the timing belt. It coordinates the rotation of the crankshaft (which converts the up and down motion of the pistons into rotation motion) and the camshaft (which opens and closes your engine’s valves). It’s vital that the timing of these movements happens precisely when it needs to so your engine will operate smoothly and perform the way it’s designed to. It also prevents damage to the engine. Regular timing belt maintenance will help you maintain your vehicle’s performance and may allow you to avoid expensive repairs later. Dennis Road Automotive | ||

So amazing. My 2002 Sasquatch (that's what I call my Sequoia) got sick, needed what I thought a new neutral safety switch, it was actually the shifter mechanism that I said go ahead and replace both because they are original parts. I found out about the shop because they worked on my sister's Exploder (inside joke) that they just praised Adam for his kindness, professionalism and made them feel like family. Lance worked on Sas to get it back to me so I'm not relying on my MTN bike for actual transportation and not recreational riding. Jermaine kept me up to date that I felt like family. Next is new front shocks/springs and oil change that I will not go to anyone else. Thank y'all from the bottom of my heart.
